End User License Agreement

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") governs your use of the Squad Tracker web application ("the App"), including its Progressive Web App (installable) form. It works alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy - if there's ever a conflict on a licensing question, this EULA controls.

1. License grant

Subject to your compliance with this EULA and our Terms of Service, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Squad Tracker for its intended purpose: sharing your location and messages with a group of your choosing.

2. What you may not do

• Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the App's client or server code beyond what's already publicly available in its source repository
• Sell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the App or access to it
• Remove or obscure any proprietary notices
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to interact with the App outside of normal human use
• Circumvent rate limits, room passwords, or account security measures

3. Ownership

The App, its design, code, and branding remain the property of its operator. Content you create (messages, avatar, chat images, voice clips) remains yours - see the Privacy Policy for how it's handled.

4. Open source components

Squad Tracker uses open-source libraries including Leaflet.js (map rendering) and OpenStreetMap/Esri map tile data, each under their own respective licenses. This EULA does not restrict your rights under those separate licenses.

5. No guaranteed availability

This license doesn't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features (or the App as a whole) at any time.

6. Termination

This license ends automatically if you violate this EULA or the Terms of Service. You can also end it yourself at any time by simply no longer using the App and deleting your account.
